Stowmarket Innovation Gateway is a modern business and innovation hub designed to bring businesses, entrepreneurs and the local community together.
With a brand-new building nearing completion, the Gateway was entering an exciting new chapter, creating a space designed to support businesses through flexible workspaces, hot desks, community activity and opportunities for collaboration.
As the building moved from development into active use, they needed a digital presence that reflected the quality and ambition of the new space.
That meant creating a digital experience that felt professional and credible, but also modern, engaging and easy to use.
What they struggled with
The challenge was that the existing microsite wasn’t quite doing the job.
The new website needed to feel more lively, modern and engaging, while still being simple to navigate and focused on clear actions.
It also needed to do considerably more than look good.
The website would become an important marketing and communications hub, supporting tenancy recruitment, hot desk bookings and community engagement.

The aim was to create a website that showcased the activity, people and community around Stowmarket Innovation Gateway rather than relying on static imagery and traditional corporate layouts.
The result was a modern WordPress website designed around usability, engagement and flexibility.
The project also involved planning for multiple systems to work together, including CRM, booking, email marketing and payment functionality.
Rather than creating a collection of disconnected tools, the aim was to make the experience feel like one joined-up digital journey.
