The Client

Our client is a regional delivery company based in East Anglia, operating in a competitive logistics market where reliable drivers are critical to growth. As the business expanded, they needed a steady pipeline of new delivery drivers to support increasing demand, without overspending on recruitment or relying solely on job boards.

The Problem

The client struggled to attract qualified driver applicants consistently. Previous recruitment methods were fragmented, expensive, and produced unpredictable results.

 They had no central platform designed specifically to convert potential drivers into leads, and their online visibility was limited. With a tight marketing budget, they needed a cost-effective, scalable solution that could deliver results quickly while also supporting long-term growth.

The Solution

We designed and built a fully SEO-optimised recruitment website focused entirely on driver acquisition. The site was structured to rank for key local driver search terms, with clear messaging, fast load times, and strong calls-to-action to maximise conversions.

Alongside the website build, we launched targeted Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad campaigns to drive immediate traffic. The ads were carefully optimised to reach people actively interested in delivery and driving roles within the local area. Despite working with a modest daily ad budget of just £5, we continuously refined targeting, creative, and messaging to keep cost per lead low and performance consistent.

Crucially, the SEO foundation ensured that the site didn’t rely solely on paid ads. As rankings improved, the website began generating organic leads through Google searches, creating a sustainable recruitment channel.

The Result

Within just four months of launching the website and ad campaigns, the results exceeded expectations. The client generated nearly 300 driver leads directly through their website. Total ad spend across the campaign was approximately £400, resulting in an average cost per lead of just £1.73.

Leads came from both paid Meta ads and organic Google search traffic, providing a consistent and reliable flow of driver applications. Thanks to this success, the client was able to confidently expand their recruitment efforts beyond Norwich and into the wider Peterborough area.
