The Problem 

The technology services for the business industry is a very crowded market on Google, with several multinational businesses competing for customer attention for the products and services that Eastern Voice and Data supply. Consequently, ads are often costly in this area. Initially, they had decided not to engage with Google Ads because it wasn’t clear how it was possible to make it work them, mostly due to the high level of competition.  

The Solution 

Following an initial meeting with us at Smash Marketing, they were able to see that there was an opportunity to advertise in this area that hadn’t been explored. We suggested looking at things from different angle 

After taking some time to understand the business, we suggested a range of search phrases allied to a Google ad that referenced the services they were providing. Alongside this, we also made some suggestions about optimising the website, to both better search engine optimisation, increase their ad’s quality score and to ensure that the whole search process was well thought out for the visitor 

In terms of the keywords we suggested, we identified that, rather than trying to compete for the same one that everyone else seemed to be fighting for, perhaps it would be best to try some alternative phrases and tweak the approach as things progressed. 

Each month, we would report the results of both the ads and the keywords
